CREATE organized a demonstrative training program on organic input preparation and its application in Vannivelanpatti village, Virudhunagar district, on 27th December 2024. Around 30 farmers from neighboring villages participated in the program. Mr. Ayyapan and Mr. Maanavari Mariappan, local organic farmers, coordinated the participation of farmers from nearby villages.

Prof. Dr. P. Duraisingam, Chairman of CREATE, inaugurated the training and demonstration, explaining the objectives and background of the program.

Mr. Manna Egambaram, a well-known organic farming trainer, facilitated demonstrations of five types of basic organic inputs that can reduce farmers’ external dependency and cultivation costs. The bio-inputs included plant growth promoters, soil health and immunity boosters, and pest-repellent herbal mixtures made from livestock and crop waste materials.
