The mission of CREATE is to improve the quality of life and empower citizens to ensure the rights of farmers and consumers. CREATE aims to secure and ensure livelihoods for all sections of the organized and unorganized sectors, especially the farming community. Additionally, CREATE aims to impart environmental awareness and take actions to protect the ecology. Working mainly in Southern and Eastern states of India, CREATE focuses on organic farming, farmer empowerment, consumer awareness regarding food security, safe and poison-free food, and nutritious food. CREATE also focuses on developing links between consumers and farmers and conducting seed conservation activities for indigenous paddy varieties, along with maintaining seed banks.
